  • For Fall Ball there are no practices, players will just play in 8 weeks of games.
  • We will start each game with a 10 minute warm up and then play a 50 minute game.
  • High School games are officiated by GLOA referees while the younger divisions will be officiated by AYL staff.
  • It’s a good idea that each player has played Lacrosse before. While we don’t mind new players, there is no focus on individual instruction during fall ball. We recommend that new players start in our spring league.
  • We will be offering at a minimum 2 free clinics to players of our fall league. We hope to have a specialty face-off, shooting, defensive & skills clinic.

  • Each field will have an AYL staff member to manage the field. AYL staff members are responsible for starting games on time & ensuring each field has adequate supplies.
  • Incredibles, U9, U11, U13 & U15 will have at least one Coach on the sideline to help players get in/out of the game and also offer coaching tips. Parents that are non-GHSA coaches are welcome to Coach. You will need to be certified by AYL before you can Coach on the sideline.
  • High School games will have 2 referees and a AYL staff member running the field.

Atlanta Lacrosse League merges with Atlanta Youth Lacrosse!

A.L.L. Family,

We just wrapped up our fourth season of the Atlanta Lacrosse League with the most successful season yet! We had over 320 players across 3 divisions, and are happy everyone had a great time playing this year. We’ve also been busy behind the scenes securing plans to expand our league and offer a better experience to our players. As part of our vision, we’ve also explored expanding into the youth and high school age groups to further our mission: offer quality lacrosse to the Atlanta area.

Today, we’re proud to announce we are officially taking over operations of Atlanta Youth Lacrosse. AYL has been the leader of youth lacrosse in the Atlanta area for over 21 years, and we are thrilled to join forces to offer a Fall, Spring and Summer Lacrosse Leagues. Partnered with AYL, US Lacrosse and the city of Sandy Springs, we’ll now offer leagues for ages K-12 for both boys & girls! The founders of AYL, Lou & Mary Jo Corsetti, are icons of Atlanta Lacrosse and by partnering with them we’re strengthening our operations and offerings for years to come.

With this partnership comes another big announcement, we are transitioning all of our operations to a not-for-profit entity. Kevin and myself have never ran this league “for the money” – just ask our wives. We’ve done it to continue to grow the game in Atlanta, and keep playing lax ourselves. We want to have a sustained business model that delivers a cohesive program offering youth, high school and adult lacrosse leagues. This will allow us to further invest in the program and execute a capital campaign to help ensure the stability of the program and further our mission to grow the game.

Effective immediately we will be open registration for our Fall Lacrosse League for ages K-12. We will host the games on Saturdays and Sundays in Sandy Springs. The league will tentatively start on 9/21 and you can register your kids at:

Thank you for supporting us through Chapter 1 of A.L.L. We hope you join us as we move into the next chapter of our league and lives. Also, if you’re interested in coaching, please email me at

Spirit knocks off Courage in final game!

This year in the Women’s Division some games have been close and some have not. No matter the game though the Courage came out on top. Going into the final game of the season the Courage were ready to finish their season with an undefeated record… however the Spirit had other plans. The final game was a thrilling one, the game was tied 7 to 7 until the Spirit were able to score the go ahead goal with only 90 seconds left to play. The Spirit managed to knock off the Courage and secure their first BIG WIN! Congratulations on an amazing season to all the ladies that played this season!
