League Director Shaun Lux

Shaun Lux has been playing lacrosse since the age of 7 and is a graduate of national Lacrosse powerhouse Fairport High School. A Fairport, NY native, Lux was a three-time All-County nominee in Lacrosse for the Fairport Red Raiders.

Shaun Lux is a graduate of Mercyhurst College where he was a member of their men’s lacrosse team. Playing midfield, he helped lead the Mercyhurst Lakers to the NCAA Division II Championship Semifinals twice in 2003 and 2004. Lux began his coaching career in 2005 as an assistant for the Mercyhurst Northeast Saints.

Lux went on to serve as the Assistant Lacrosse Coach at St. John Fisher College from 2007 to 2011. During his time at St. John Fisher Shaun coached alongside two NYS Lacrosse Hall of Fame Coaches John Johnson and Mark Rice. His last year at St. John Fisher the Cardinals finished the season ranked 17th nationally in the NCAA.Shaun Lux

Lux played in the Ales Hrebesky World Box Lacrosse Tournament held in Prague in 2009 and 2011 & 2016. The tournament is the biggest Box Lacrosse Tournament outside of the World Games. In 2009 the USA MegaMen won the championship and Lux was an all-tournament player.

Lux has played for a lot of Lacrosse teams, but his best seasons were as the Captain of the Rochester Greywolves from 2009 to 2011. After the 2011 Season Shaun Lux relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Since moving to Georgia Shaun has worked with Atlanta Youth Lacrosse & was an Assistant at the Marist School (Atlanta) from 2012 to 2015.
